My warning to potential customers: based on this experience, I strongly recommend that you do not engage Morris Romo or Touch and Control Marbella.

This is my personal assessment, based on my own project records, messages, payments and the condition of the installation shown below.

September 2025

The project began

Touch and Control Marbella, represented in my dealings by Morris Romo, was engaged for a home-automation and electrical project. The written quotation dated 24 September 2025 covered DALI lighting, KNX/DALI automation, Jung controls, a central touchscreen, switches, detectors, HVAC and underfloor-heating integration, lighting and electrical work.

September 2025 – January 2026

More than €20,000 paid

I paid more than €12,000 in September 2025, made another payment in November, and made a further payment in January 2026. In total, payments exceeded €20,000. Despite that, significant high-value hardware included in the project still has not been delivered or installed. I made the January payment while the installation was incomplete. In hindsight, I regret doing so.

Winter 2025/26

A winter without usable heating

The air-conditioning control integration had not been completed and the underfloor heating was not connected. In practical terms, we could not use the heating as intended during the winter. Valves and connection modules remained outstanding.

31 March – 9 April 2026

Another deadline, then an acknowledgement

On 31 March, Morris said the project would be finished by the end of the following week. On 6 April I sent a room-by-room list of outstanding work. On 9 April, Morris wrote in WhatsApp: “I take full responsibility for the delays.” The project was not handed over as complete.

Summer 2026

Cooling without room-by-room control

At first, we had no working air conditioning. It was later made usable only through one central control for an entire floor, without the room-by-room control included in the project. Running the whole system this way resulted, in my experience, in unusually high electricity bills.

8 September 2026

One year on, still unfinished

Morris visited roughly three weeks ago to make another list, but no work has resumed since that visit. His most recent stated completion target is the end of the second week of September 2026. Repeated messages and requests for firm attendance dates have, in my experience, often gone unanswered or required further chasing—even after more than €20,000 was paid. I found this dismissive, rude and deeply unprofessional.

Current condition, dated message history and the customer’s firsthand experience
With a small child in the house, exposed electrical cabling and uncovered junction boxes were not merely unfinished details. I did not consider those areas safe for normal family living.

— The homeowner's firsthand safety concern

We also went through winter without the heating working as intended. In summer, the AC could only be run centrally for the whole floor. Another winter is approaching and the heating is still not ready.

Observed as of 8 September 2026

More than €20,000 paid. The promised system is still not complete.

01

Heating

The underfloor heating remains unconnected; valves and connection modules are still absent.

02

Room controls

AC control from individual rooms does not work. One centralized module operates the entire floor.

03

Domotics

The main apparatus intended to control the complete home-automation system has not been installed.

04

Switches & screens

Many Jung controls remain without their finished buttons, covers or faceplates.

05

Open boxes & cables

Junction boxes and electrical cabling remain exposed in several places, including exterior areas.

06

Family safety

These openings were left in a lived-in home with a small child. In my view, that created an unacceptable and prolonged safety concern.

07

Finishing damage

Late installation of covers and light spots left visible paint and plaster differences after the painters had finished.

08

Customer communication

After substantial payments, messages and requests for firm dates were repeatedly ignored or answered only after further chasing. I experienced this as rude, dismissive and unprofessional.

On materials: I repeatedly requested evidence that the outstanding materials had been ordered. Morris said on 27 March 2026 that he would send proof of the orders. I did not receive that proof. I therefore cannot verify the explanations that delays were caused by materials.
